Speech and Language Therapist Band 6

Salary: FTE £30,357 - £39,542 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance – to be pro rata’d for the hours worked

Hours: Part-time 1 day per week

Location: The Link Primary School, Croydon, CR0 4PG

The Link Primary School formulates part of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust providing non-residential, specialist teaching and therapy for 51 children aged 4-11 years whose primary need is Speech, Language and Communication. Many of the pupils are also on the autistic spectrum and have a wide range of cognitive need. 

The post holder will join an established team of Speech and Language Therapists who are jointly responsible for providing a therapy service to the Link Primary School. The team works in partnership with teachers and support staff in our child centred classrooms.

We require an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Teachers and Occupational Therapists) to support our pupils in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes/groups. You will also deliver training to other staff.
