St Philip’s School is a special school and offers places to 185 pupils aged 9 to 19 with a wide range of ability levels and additional needs including complex autism.

The School is located on a spacious green site in Chessington, in the Royal Borough of Kingston and has extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities, vocational facilities and a dedicated pupil support team offering a range of therapies.

Dedicated staff are able to support pupils to develop at their own pace due to small class size whether following academic pathways or vocational skills. The post holder will join a team of speech and language therapists who are jointly responsible for providing a therapy service to St Philip’s School. 

We require an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Occupational Therapists) to support our students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies.  You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as delivering small group and individual therapy programmes.
