Hours:       14.40 hours, 2 days per week, all year around (Flexible working, Job share will be considered).

Location:  Nightingale Community Academy, Beechcroft Road, Wandsworth, SW17 7DF.

You will be joining a College with an Outstanding Ofsted rating, and a successful Therapy team that works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff to support our learners in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies.

Due to recent expansion we are looking for Speech and Language Therapists to join us, so whatever your current band we would be delighted to hear from you.  You are welcome to speak to our HR Department for further information prior to application.

Students within Orchard Hill College have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including complex autism; speech, language and communication difficulties and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.

Pupils within the OHC&AT have a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; learning abilities and additional needs.

We require Speech and Language Specialists (Band 6) to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Physiotherapists, OT’s and Music Therapists). You will support our students and pupils in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents and carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with the teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes/groups and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff. Band 6 Therapists will be responsible to and supported by the Band 7 equivalent Speech and Language Therapist as well as the Lead for Therapies.
