Terms: 36hours 40 Minutes per Week. Term Time Only.

Royton and Crompton is a school with a bright future. We are under the guidance of a new and experienced Leadership Team who are driving the school forward.

A new build is planned for 2019 which will provide state of the art resources for all of our staff. We are situated a short distance away from the scenic Pennines and have excellent transport links from Manchester city centre.

We are looking to appoint an experienced practitioner to provide a specialist child-centered speech and language therapy service to children and young people aged between 11-16 who have autism and associated complex needs, undertaking assessment, interpretation of assessment results, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, advice and review.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised professional Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent, and be both a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and also hold registration with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).

He/she will have demonstrative experience of supporting children and young people with Autism and learning disabilities who have complex speech, language and communication needs and knowledge of statutory legislation including Health and Safety and Safeguarding/Protection of Children and Young People.
