This role is a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). This is a part-time position consisting of 22.2 hours per week. You will be based at Lakeside School in Naylors Road, Liverpool. Expected start date will be 1 March 2022.

It aims to support children and young people with to live healthy and happy lives, establish meaningful relationships and achieve their full potential. Many of our settings have established trauma-informed, ADHD Friendly and National Autistic Society accredited approaches to education and care. The Clinical Service team within each setting includes Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical and Educational Psychologists, and a broad range of Therapists with expertise in Counselling, and Drama, Art and Psychotherapy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist with experience in Autism and/or SEMH to join our growing multi-disciplinary team, to provide assessment and intervention across a range of settings, but specifically into specialist educational provision. The successful applicant will provide Speech and Language Therapy as part of the multidisciplinary team within the school and be supported by regional supervision, mentoring and appraisal. CPD is encouraged and facilitated, including access to the national network of clinicians who work together to develop practice according to special interests.

Specialist role:

As a Specialist Clinician you will be an HCPC registered SaLT, with a minimum of two years experience working with children and young people with Developmental Trauma, Neuro-developmental Conditions in particular Autism and Special Educational Needs.
