About you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, positive and driven team lead for our SALT team.
Recognised professional qualification
Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC
Qualification in clinical education for undergraduate SALT students
Post basic dysphagia qualification
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and autism
The post holder will be responsible for development of the SALT service to ensure a high standard of communication assessment and intervention to students at Bridge College and other individuals accessing the service. The post holder will provide assessment, intervention and monitoring for students with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions and will support other members of the SALT team to effectively manage their caseloads. The post holder also will have a lead role in the management of dysphagia across the college.
They will work in close collaboration with parents and other professionals within and outside the college. Safeguarding children and vulnerable people is a priority for all employees.
