Position arising from special projects 

Toowoomba Catholic Schools (TCS) is a system of 31 primary, secondary, and P-12 schools located in Toowoomba, and across the Darling Downs and South West Queensland.

The Role

This is an exciting time to be joining our organisation. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to enhancing service delivery across the Diocese. The role will see you:

  • deliver speech language pathology services to school students and their families 
  • lift teacher capacity by designing and developing a range of professional learning resources, to support schools in speech language pathology services and practice
  • identify the speech/language needs of students
  • work collaboratively with school learning support teams to develop appropriate intervention responses which are able to be contextualised within an educational setting

Your Experience

  • tertiary qualification in speech language pathology 
  • hold, or be eligible to hold, registration for Speech Pathology Australia
  • familiarity and competency with assessment and intervention in the area of paediatrics
  • effective relationship building and influencing skills
  • demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft suite of products
  • advanced interpersonal and communication skills
  • empathy with the values and ethos of the Catholic faith
