The College requires a Sport and Enrichment Coordinator to support the teaching staff and learners within the Sport/PE Department. We are looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic candidate with a passion for sport. We expect high performance from all our staff, and are looking for someone who can plan, organise and lead activities. Candidates should demonstrate their ability and suitability to both the role and the culture of the College.
The Sport/PE Department is a friendly and vibrant department who deliver on both A Level and Vocational qualifications to over 200 students. The College has a modern sports hall and gym providing excellent facilities for students. The department also has well-equipped IT facilities and first class staff development opportunities.
We give students the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and learn from their experiences and the department enjoys strong links with higher education establishments and companies alike. Learning is enriched through a variety of guest speakers and visits which include Lord’s Cricket Ground and a visit to Twickenham to watch the England rugby team train.
The department produce dedicated training programmes for elite sports students who compete at both county and national level. Students also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of regular sports fixtures with local Colleges along with weekly training sessions. The College is also affiliated to AoC Sport, giving both team and individual athletes the opportunity to compete at both regional and national levels.
Hours: 37 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Actual salary for 37 hours per week, term-time (39 weeks per year) is £19,892.98 pa, inclusive of pro rata fringe allowance.
FTE is £22,142 plus £1,019 fringe allowance pa (pro rata for part-time)
