We are seeking a passionate and committed Lecturer in Sport to join our successful Sport department on a one-year maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team at an Outstanding College.

The successful candidate will be required to teach units on the Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sport & Exercise Science and the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, as well as play an active role in supporting our college sports academy provision.

Applicants should hold a relevant degree or professional qualification, along with a recognised teaching qualification. The ability to inspire and engage students of all ability levels is essential, as is a commitment to curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches. Experience in pastoral care would be an advantage.

In this role, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to an outstanding learning experience, and support students’ academic and personal development. They will also be expected to take on responsibility for a tutor group.
