Richard Huish College are currently seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Sports Physio/Therapist to join our hugely successful sports programmes.

Candidates will be required to provide a range rehab and pitch side support to the Sports Development Officer, including the coordination and organisation of ongoing treatment for injuries related to sports events, both on and off campus. Candidates will also be required to provide short assessment of existing injuries and taping on a morning prior to competition in a variety of sports including Netball, Hockey, Rugby, Football and Basketball. Candidates should have excellent communication, administration, and interpersonal skills, and are dedicated to fully embrace the sporting and educational ethos within the College.

The successful candidate will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office, have experience of office administration, possess strong organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work within an educational sports environment. A degree level qualification in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy is required a first aid at work certification is desirable, but not essential as full training can be provided. 

Candidates would need to be available on Wednesday for 8 hours to be flexible from week-to-week term time, to start ASAP until the 6th of April 2022.

• Salary: £10.20-£20.80 per/hr depending on experience

• Hours: 8 hours per week depending on schedules and fixtures

• Start Date: ASAP
