Sports Assistant / Coach - (Casual Hours)

We wish to appoint an additional member of staff to join our Sports department to assist with the smooth running of the sports halls and to provide sporting activities for students.  Ideally we are looking for someone with coaching qualifications or relevant experience in one or more of the following: tennis, personal training or gym supervision, cricket or football.  You will be accompanying students to fixtures so the confidence and willingness to drive a minibus will therefore be essential.

The sports hall is open seven days per week until 10pm and flexibility will be required to cover the shifts on a casual basis.  Currently there are approximately 15 hours per week available, mainly during afternoons, early evenings and weekends.  Due to the casual nature of the role, however, there will be no set or standard hours of work nor will there be a guaranteed minimum number of hours of work.

A competitive hourly rate of pay is offered for this post, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Closing date for applications is noon Wednesday 11 August 2021

Further information and an application form are available either on our website:,   or from our HR Department: Tel: 01694 731631.

Please note CV’s will only be accepted if submitted with a fully completed and detailed application form.
