Job overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our PE team.

At Marine Academy we are determined to help children succeed irrespective of background. We are looking for a passionate Sports Coach to work within the PE team in ensuring excellent extra-curricular sporting activities for our students. 

The purpose of this role will be to run lunchtime and after-school sporting activities for our children to enjoy. Alongside this you will work closely with the Head of PE in providing teacher support during afternoon lesson.  This is very much an opportunity to develop our students’ love of sport though physical activity and coaching. We are looking for an experience of working with children in sports coaching and the ability to offer a number of lunch and after-school activities & sports that all children will be able to participate in. 

This is a grade E position (£22,911- £25,295 pro-rata) working 20 hours per week (1pm - 4pm) for 39 weeks per year (term-time only).  We encourage applications from people who may be considering teaching as a long-term career and are looking for experience of working in a rapidly improving school.
