Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Sports Coach/ TA for Sports to work across our two schools and to support individuals and groups of students to support high standards of teaching Sports. 

39 weeks per year. 32.5 hours per week.

Hours: Part Time – 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday, Term time only

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic  Sport Teaching Assistant who would like to work with primary school age children. 

Sports Coach Teaching Assistant  position is across the federation for Saint Joseph's Infant School and Saint Joseph's Junior School.

You will be flexible and willing to work within the federation across both schools.  

You will have experience of teaching sports and passionate to promote sports and health and well-being to children.

You must have experience of working with primary school age children. 

You must have  a flexible approach, a sense of humour, reliability, punctuality, stamina, resilience and the ability to work under pressure is essential. 

You will need to be able to work well as part of a supportive team and take direction from the class teacher, use your own initiative and build a strong relationship with the children.
