King Edward’s School and King Edward VI High School for Girls are seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time Sports Facilities and Lettings Coordinator. The role holder will assist in the compliance and smooth running of all aspects of the operations of KES & KEHS Sports Centres with a particular focus on lettings and activities running outside the school day.

Supporting the Arts & Events Manager and the Facilities Manager, the Sports Facilities and Lettings Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the booking of sports facilities and ongoing liaison with hirers.

The role holder will ensure the relevant buildings are open as necessary and that they are safe and clean, with any equipment set up as required. The role requires a hands-on approach to service delivery and an ability to work on your own initiative to 'get things done'. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year’s experience of managing public, community and commercial facility users within a lettings (or similar) related environment.

The main duties include the management of sports and other facilities across the School sites, with particular responsibility for the Sports Centres.  This includes Health and Safety management and monitoring of the facilities, and ensuring delivery of a first class service for all customers and visitors.

Training will be provided. The role holder will need to have the ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as being flexible with hours if required.  

Type of role: Part-time, permanent, all-year round.

Working hours: 25 hours per week, working 5.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday, with another 70+ hours available to be worked flexibly at weekends and during the day

Salary: £16,457 per annum with an additional 70+ hours available
