We require an enthusiastic, hard-working and committed Sports Facilities Manager to work within the Willison Sports Centre at EWS. This role exists to ensure effective and efficient operation of the sports centre, ensuring high levels of public safety during its use. This role will be based over both sites and all employees are expected to support the creation of an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the Academies which promote equality within, and value the diversity of, the Trust.

The successful candidate will be:

 Driven

 Organised

 Have excellent communication skills

 Have experience of working within the leisure/hospitality field

 Have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure

The sports centre, which is part of the school, was established and officially opened in 1994 and operates across the two school sites which are based in Roade and Deanshanger, covering both Northampton and Milton Keynes areas. The Willison Sports Centre is the umbrella heading for all commercial use of the school facilities; these include use of the leisure centre and any of the school sports facilities which are available for use by members of the public.

Training and development opportunities will be offered. All staff are encouraged to study further and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Elizabeth Woodville School is an inclusive comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students. Elizabeth Woodville is part of Tove Learning Trust which is a rapidly growing trust whose vision is to ensure that all pupils in the trust academies are provided with outstanding educational experiences that lead to outstanding outcomes.
