Sports Graduate

Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools and the Sunday Times’ East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year 2020.

We are looking for a talented graduate to assist within the PE department at Leicester Grammar School (LGS) for the fixed period September 2020 to July 2021. This post will provide an ideal training and development opportunity for a graduate looking to progress into a sports or education related role. The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject, coaching experience and an interest in working within a school environment.

The Sports Graduate at LGS will generally be working with pupils aged 11-18 in the School’s major games of netball, hockey, athletics or swimming and will be encouraged to play a full part in the life of the PE and Games Department.

A completed application form and curriculum vitae, accompanied by a covering letter addressed to Mr Chris Howe, Director of Sport, should reach the school as soon as possible, and no later than 9am on Monday 24 February 2020. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 4 March 2020.
