Experience working in a school setting or with young people in a work placement or paid job, as well as a degree is essential for this role in the past few years (please contact us for more information on expereince is required)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

Sports or sports science graduates needed at specialist provisions and pupil referral units in the West Yorkshire region.

Day to day support and long-term cover Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30

The role

The role is for a Sports Graduates required for Schools to gain extensive experience and knowledge in SEND settings. This will be suitable for individuals who are looking to progress in the education sector. Our clients require staff both in and out of the classroom to support pupils suffer from a range of special needs and disabilities such as: from physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful Sports Graduate candidate will be resilient, hard working and have a genuine attitude towards helping children who require the upmost support.

The School

Specialist schools and pupil referral units who offer tailored support for pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities.

Requirements

To be considered for the Sports Graduate position, you will:

Experience working with SEND and challenging behaviour

Knowledgeable of the UK curriculum

Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment

Able to tailor approach based on each child's individual needs
