We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant at Cherry Lane Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)


Salary information: Scale 3; £17,300 - £17,585 per annum;

Work pattern: 30 hours per week, Term time only;

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:30;

Contract type: Permanent;

Start date: ASAP.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic LSA to join our excellent team at Cherry Lane Primary School. You will be part of a team supporting the learning of the children in our specialist resourced provision which may include supporting children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. 


Our specialist resourced provision supports the needs of children with ASD so an interest in special educational needs is essential. Applicants will need to have a good level of general educational qualifications and experience in working with children with Autism. Induction, support and on-going training will be provided to ensure your success at our school.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to a health check, an enhanced DBS check and TWO satisfactory references.
