We are seeking a Support Teacher : Inclusive Education (ST:IE) to join our caring school community. St Josephs College is seeking a suitably qualified Support Teacher - Inclusive Education.  This position will be part time or full time depending on the applicants teaching areas.  E.g. 3 days ST:IE and 2 days teaching.  These hours may be subject to change with appropriate notice.


The successful applicant will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education
  • be able to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or be eligible for accreditation to teach Religious Education.
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers 
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • be prepared to work in a P-12 context and be willing to participate in full P-12 College events and practices where appropriate.
  • be flexible and forward thinking in their approach to classrooms and fully conversant with current best practice in learning and teaching. For BCE employees this is demonstrated practice and understanding of the Effective and Expected Practices of the BCE Model of Pedagogy. For all other applicants this is demonstrated knowledge and application of the model of pedagogy used in their school and an understanding of the BCE Model of Pedagogy.
