This role will involve teaching on the Level 2 & 3 BTEC Media Diplomas and potentially the Foundation Degree in Media Production. In addition to teaching you will be required to take an active part in the delivery of functional skills (Maths & English) up to Level 2 subject specialist experience and ability to teach Media production and/or Journalism is essential, ideally with some experience of Higher Education teaching too.


You should hold as a minimum a Level 3 subject specialist qualification or higher when necessary to teach the subject area at the required level and, relevant industry experience in the subject specialism is non-essential but a teaching qualification is desirable. Applicants without a professional teaching qualification will be required to work towards getting one.
