Bennett Memorial Diocesan School in Tunbridge Wells is a large Church of England secondary school with academy status for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 years.

  

This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school. The role is broad and includes the organisation of staff attendance and cover, maintaining the school calendar and playing a key role in organising schedules for events. Effective communication with staff, and pre-empting potential problems before they arise are key to this role; providing solutions to unforeseen problems helps to maintain the high standards of the school.


Excellent communication, administrative and interpersonal skills are vital for this post, as you will need to build effective working relationships, work efficiently as part of a busy school, and obtain and present important school information to a wide range of stakeholders. Strong IT skills and keen attention to detail are also required to ensure reporting processes are maintained as effectively as possible. 

 

The Staffing Administration Office is open from 7.30am to 4.00pm every day during term time.  The postholder will work in a job share, for a minimum of 24 hours per week. The specific days and times are negotiable to ensure a mutually agreeable job share arrangement.
