Grade 3 – SCP 5 - 7 £22,185 F.T.E pa - £22,995 F.T.E pa ( Pro rata £12,286 pa - £12,734 pa)

 22.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 1:00pm) - Term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at David Livingstone Academy. Very good literacy/ numeracy skills are essential, as well as the ability to relate well to children and adults.  

This post is to support a child, with an Educational Health Care Plan/High Needs, on a 1:1 basis. This is a fixed term contract dependent upon the child remaining at David Livingstone Academy. You may also be required to provide support to a small group of children with High Needs when necessary. 

The successful candidate must:

• Have experience of supporting children with Autism/behaviour concerns/physical impairment/communication delay is therefore preferable;

• Have experience of working within a school setting and be highly proactive and committed to going that extra mile to ensure pupils achieve the best they possibly can;

• Be able to communicate with all staff and pupils;

• Display a commitment to the Trust’s equalities policies.
