We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly skilled and motivated Assistant Headteacher with a passion for inclusion and extended schools provision.

Redriff Primary City of London Academy is an outstanding two-form entry primary school partnered with the City of London Academy. Our motto is ‘Dockland Pride’ and we want all of our children to take pride in themselves, their families, their background and their heritage. Redriff is a remarkable school with maths results that sit in the top 3% in the country. It has a nationally accredited Autistic Spectrum Condition Resource Base and is a lead school for the School Direct training programme.

As Assistant Headteacher you will be a key member of Redriff’s senior leadership team and have a role in further developing our school. You will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards of achievement and up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching strategies. You will participate fully in the life of Redriff school, serving its children and community.

As Strategic Extended Schools Lead you will ensure a quality wrap around educational offer for all children, which will include proactively applying for and securing grants and funding to financially support participation in opportunities beyond core and curriculum learning.  You will ensure Redriff is well represented locally, within The City, and nationally, in competitions and enrichment opportunities.

Redriff Primary School is sponsored by the Corporation of The City of London. It is part of the City of London Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust with schools in North, East and South London, recognised as one of the best performing in the country.  We combine the heritage and tradition of the Corporation of London with a genuinely innovative, enterprising and entrepreneurial ethos.  We’re also committed to providing first-rate training and development to all of our leaders, plus excellent career advancement opportunities within this evolving Trust.
