About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT Director to lead the ICT Team in the management, implementation, support and administration of the school ICT provision, to maximise efficiency and effectiveness; with emphasis on customer service and developing future plans to meet the school’s educational objectives.  

Reporting to the Business Director and a member of the school’s Senior Executive Team, you will have demonstrable experience of managing ICT services and staff, have good communication and inter-personal skills, and be solution-focussed.  You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the ICT support service across the school.  You will be accountable for the development and delivery of the school’s IT strategy, working collaboratively with all key stakeholders to understand and support their technological requirements.

You could be a Senior IT Technician who wants to develop their skills or already an IT Manager who wants to gain further experience in a different organisation.  Previous experience of working in schools is not required.

The Package

- Support Staff Scale – Grade 10/11: £34,728 - £47,292 per annum

- 37 hours per week, full year

- 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5 years) plus bank holidays
