Babcock LDP (Learning and Development Partnership), a joint venture with Devon County Council, is at an exciting stage of expansion as a result of the significant funding support for education provided by the Council, as well as the many successful partnership with Teaching School Alliances, Multi-Academy Trusts, Federations, Diocese, other local authorities and individual schools in Devon and across the wider South West region.

We are seeking an exceptional education leader to join us in this exciting new position: Strategic Lead: School Performance and Standards, to lead exceptional education services based in Exeter in Devon, within the beautiful south west of England. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person with the right level of expertise, professional skill, experience and strategic capacity to lead our new School Performance and Standards strategy through a team of highly dedicated and committed education professionals and support teams from within Babcock LDP as well as through our many partnerships.

The role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated and committed education professional and school improvement expert with recent HMI or wider Ofsted experience in leading school inspections and evaluations of the quality of education provision across a wide range of settings and schools. Applications from Headteachers / Principals who are serving / experienced Ofsted inspectors are welcome.
