An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Dynamic New Team!
We are seeking to appoint a counsellor to provide a confidential and professional counselling and welfare support service to our students.
The successful candidate should have previous experience of counselling young adults in an education environment as well as experience of working with external support agencies to be able to signpost students where necessary.
With a relevant counselling qualification to Level 4, you must have a commitment to student welfare and achievement and the ability to listen and advise in a non-judgemental way. Reporting to the Assistant Principal, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently and as a member of a wider team.
New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2019, initially with 550 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). New College Pontefract, New College Doncaster and New College Bradford work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.
