This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven professional to join an outstanding post 16 college.

Working as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, Elliott Hudson College has a mission to ensure that its students receive an exceptional education. We are looking for professionals who want to work in a college that focuses on high expectations, challenge and rigour but aligned closely with personal responsibility and pastoral care. Together these values will instil in young people a self-belief that enables them to access the highest standard of higher educational provision and employment.

Through this approach Elliott Hudson College is becoming a catalyst for social change, transforming opportunities for the young people in the communities it serves. We are determined through the establishment of this college, to ensure that poverty and deprivation should in no way limit either the quality of a young person’s educational experience or the levels of achievement to which those students are able to rise.

We are seeking to appoint a Student Destinations Manager to work as part of the careers team, with specific responsibility for students who are seeking to progress to higher and further education on completion of their courses. This role will involve identifying and working with groups of students to ensure they are making informed choices about their post-18 destinations and will include organising and planning targeted enrichment activities to help inform their decisions. You will work closely with the Student Destinations Manager who supports students seeking to enter the World of Work and a qualified careers advisor, as well as the wider pastoral team to ensure students develop the skills and experiences to enable them to make competitive applications and achieve success during any selection process.

This position does present the successful candidate with a fantastic career opportunity in a thriving and growing organisation. Applications are welcomed from people who have worked with young people in an educational environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are keen to be at the centre of our organisational change. The last few years have been exceptional for The GORSE Academies Trust and we are incredibly proud that Elliott Hudson College was judged as ‘outstanding’ in all areas, by Ofsted in March 2018.

Elliott Hudson College is a 16-19, co-educational college which opened in 2015 and now has a student population of 1070 Year 12 and 13 students. The college is housed in brand new, state-of-the-art accommodation at The White Rose Office Park, Millshaw Park Lane, Leeds, LS11 0LT.
