Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who is a recent graduate and has an interest in working with young people to expand and develop their life opportunities. The successful candidate will be the ‘face’ of the College in relation to representing the views of our learners to all other College stakeholders and must, therefore, be professional and customer orientated in their attitude. The successful candidate will work with the Student Governors and Student Executive, coordinating and promoting the work of the elected student representatives and representing our students at appropriate College meetings. They will also be the operational leads for student executive/learner voice activities and student enrichment. As part of the Careers & Progression and Learning Centre teams, they will support students in relation to career progression, including progression into apprenticeships and higher education and perform Learning Centre duties alongside the LC staff. During the exam seasons they will assist with invigilating exams and with exam related administration.

· Salary: £11.44 per hr
· Contract: Fixed term period 27th August 2024 to 11th July 2025
· Hours: 37hrs per week, all year round.
· Start Date: 27th August 2024

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
