The Department has worldwide reputation for excellence in both research and teaching and in a move designed to underscore our commitment to delivering the best possible teaching and learning experience to our undergraduate students, we are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to contribute to delivery of our vision of world leading education in chemical science at Imperial College.

Applications are invited for the post of Student Experience Officer to join a team in the Student Services Centre in the Department of Chemistry within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of all aspects of the pastoral and academic support structure for our undergraduate students. The role will support the administration for the coordination of the undergraduate programme, working closely with academic staff and departmental administration, as well as providing professional knowledge and expertise to support strategic planning for undergraduate teaching.

You will be educated to degree level in Chemistry, or will hold an equivalent level of professional qualification or have experience in a closely related discipline. You must have significant student-focussed experience in secondary or tertiary education, along with a successful track record of undertaking major academic administrative roles. You also have proven academic leadership and management skills and a significant profile in teaching and learning in chemistry or a related subject at ‘A’, IB or undergraduate level.
