Job overview

We are looking to appoint an experienced individual to provide medical care and welfare support to students and will contribute to specific interventions which impact positively on student wellbeing, attendance and performance. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, calm and confident manner and will be able to communicate effectively and positively with students with different cultural, physical and social needs. They will have strong administration skills and will possess a first aid qualification.

Contract: 40 weeks per year (Term Time, plus 2 weeks), 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade H3, SCP14: Pro rata salary £15,050 per annum inclusive of Fringe Allowance

The Bushey Academy is 20 minutes by train from London Euston and enjoys a leafy setting close to the urban environment of Watford. We are a successful and popular 11-19 mixed secondary school that provides the highest quality of education for all learners. Our mission is to ensure that every one of our young people leave the academy fully equipped for their next stage in life, be it university or the world of work.
