£28.000 -30.500 per annum (dependent upon a teaching qualification)

Full time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Pathway Co-ordinator to work within our “Outstanding” College provision.  In the role you will oversee the students’ learner journey and to ensure that learners have an excellent learning experience. This will include support for the admission of new students into the School and College, their learning experience, and the transition of leavers out of School and College. This role will require the applicant to work towards level 5 Diploma in Teaching followed by QTLS if not already gained.

You will also oversee the development and smooth running of all systems and procedures within the school/college, covering finance, personnel, student matters and general administration.

In addition, where required and dependent upon qualification, you will have the opportunity to teach.

The successful applicant will ideally hold a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or a relevant area; have experience of working in the education or care sector (ideally with teaching experience) and be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of working with people with a learning disability. Knowledge of the assessment and audit processes in the education sector would also be desirable.
