- Act as the primary point of communication with parents/guardians of students within your tutor groups;
- Track and monitor the academic progress of tutees, ensuring they meet or exceed their expected achievement levels;
- Identify students at risk of underachievement and initiate timely interventions;
- Monitor attendance and punctuality, implementing interventions as needed to promote consistent attendance;
- Ensure students maintain high standards of personal conduct in alignment with the ethos of the college;
- Support student welfare and well-being, offering early help when necessary, and referring safeguarding concerns in line with college policies;
- Maintain accurate student records using Cristalweb and CPOMS;
- Deliver group tutorials as part of the core Tutorial Programme, Tutorial+, and The Prospects Diploma;
- Participate in careers advice and guidance, supporting students with UCAS applications and progression planning;
- Provide references for students' UCAS applications and progression applications;
- Assist with careers events such as Getting Ready Day, work experience facilitation, and support the wider college activities including open evenings and parents’ consultation events;
- Participate in the College’s Quality Assurance Cycle and Performance Management process;
- Attend training sessions and undertake statutory training as required for the role.
