We are seeking a highly organised, student‑focused and proactive Student Services Manager to lead our front‑line student services and play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional learner experience.

 

This is a key leadership role within the college, responsible for managing student‑facing services including reception, enquiries, enrolment, student records, attendance and financial support schemes. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, student‑centred environment, lead a dedicated team, and bring a strong background in customer service, administration and operational management.

 

Haringey Sixth Form College has experienced significant recent improvement, with growth in student numbers, outcomes and investment in support services. Student Services plays a vital role in this success, ensuring students feel supported, included and able to succeed from first enquiry through to progression.

 

About the Role

As Student Services Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Student Services Administrators, ensuring high‑quality, compliant and student‑focused service delivery.

You will:

  • Lead front‑line student services including reception, enquiries and student advice

  • Manage and develop a team of Student Services Administrators through coaching, supervision and performance review

  • Oversee student records, attendance and financial support schemes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting

  • Lead and coordinate the college enrolment process, including staffing rotas, on‑floor support and data management during peak periods

  • Work collaboratively with academic and professional services teams to ensure a seamless and inclusive student journey

  • Use data, feedback and digital tools to drive continuous improvement and service innovation

  • Act as a key point of contact for students, promoting inclusion, wellbeing and positive engagement

  • Support safeguarding, data protection and regulatory compliance

You will also maintain an operational presence, contributing to day‑to‑day student service activities when required and modelling excellent customer service at all times.

 

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience producing reports and using data to evaluate service effectiveness

  • Experience contributing to service planning and improvement strategies
