Student Support Assistant

Prior Park School in Gibraltar has a brand-new position available to provide dedicated 1:1 inclusion support and site navigation for a Year 7 student with specific needs. Will be working on a full time one year contract until 30 August 2026, which may be renewed to fit with the needs of the student/school.

The Student Support Assistant will work under the direction of the SENCo and subject teachers to provide support in navigating and moving around the school site to the appropriate level.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate experience of working with children, as a parent or voluntary worker and demonstrate an ability to provide and agree learning activities and programmes, taking into consideration pupils' learning style. A childcare or SEND qualification or NVQ in childcare would be desirable.

The school welcomes students aged 11 to 18 and provide a robust UK curriculum, including over 20 subjects at GCSE, A Level. Set in a stunning location, high up on the Rock and overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar, on the historic Scared Heart campus in the Old Town, offering a peaceful setting above the city noise.
