New Line Learning are seeking a Student Support Manager who will be responsible for carrying out patrol, manage students that are on report and monitor pupils in isolation. The postholder, in accordance to school policies and procedures, will help students to self-regulate within a structured and calm environment to facilitate in returning them back to lessons.      

This role requires you to use information to design and implement interventions and strategies with regards to pupil’s self-management, attainment and wellbeing liaising with the Well-Being Leader, Inclusion Manager and other Well Being resources as appropriate.      

This role will involve working with the Pastoral Team, subject teachers and students to identify barriers leading to disengagement and then supporting students to develop better self-regulation and management strategies.    

You will have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal, be approachable and have the ability to build relationships across the school. You will be seen as a professional with integrity and enthusiasm for this area. You will need to use your own initiative and be able to manage a varied workload, accommodating the needs of individual students.  Previous experience of working within a school would be advantageous.
