We are seeking experienced Student Support School Officers to join the St Augustine’s College team. 

The Student Support School Officer supports teachers in the provision of quality education and support to students. As the role holder will be based in a classroom environment, a high degree of confidentiality and willingness is essential. These positions have a specific role in supporting Primary and Middle Years students.

Ideally the successful applicant will hold:
•    A Certificate III in Education Support, and
•    Be experienced with working with children with ASD and ADHD.

The successful candidate will be a team player who will work collaboratively with others.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
