As a student support worker you will work closely alongside the students to give guidance, support and advice and to promote independence and have a desire to support students in obtaining the most out of their educational experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • be a talented, ambitious and creative practitioner
  • be able to inspire and motivate colleagues and students alike
  • work confidently  with students, parents and a multitude of agencies
  • be supported through training as well as being given opportunities and support for professional development    

In 2017 the Academy is, once again, celebrating positive results in KS4 and KS5.  Staff work hard as a team to support students and to help them to achieve academic and social success which prepares them for them for a happy, healthy and productive working life.
