St Mary’s is a K to Year 6 Co-educational Primary School in the scenic township of Batlow, NSW. At St Mary's Primary School we strive to inspire, nurture and challenge each child to reach their potential through providing quality education in a supportive learning environment.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Student Welfare Officer at St Mary's Catholic Primary. The purpose of the Nation School Chaplaincy Program is to support the well-being of Australian school students through the provision of pastoral care services and strategies to support the well-being of the broader school community. The nature of activities may include volunteering activities, breakfast clubs, excursions, lunchtime activities and parent/carer workshops.
Please note that this is a part-time temporary position. Additionally, note that this position was created for a specific initiative or programme funded by Catholic Education.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
