About the Role: 

City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Study Centre Advisor.  This position is full time and will be based at the South Bristol Skills Academy.

What you’ll be responsible for/what we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with experience of excellent customer service, communication and IT skills who also has experience of library systems and who is confident in working in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities.  

The role will involve being responsible for supervising and supporting students to access library resources in the Study Centre and to liaise with curriculum staff to deliver inductions and workshops in the classroom.  


Working within the Ashley Down Hub you will also have the opportunity to work with the Learner Services team as required.


You will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally, as well as other members of College staff and students.

We require 5 GCSEs at levels A* – C, including Maths or English or equivalent, also 2 A levels or equivalent are essential. Ideally you will have had experience of working in a library based customer service role.
