We are seeking a teacher of SOR / General English to fill a full time continuing position commencing in January 2020. 

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the education of young women and the Co-Curricular life of the College, work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and possess a clear understanding of the new Australian Curriculum.

 St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college in the Mercy tradition offering a contemporary education for young women. Administered by Brisbane Catholic Education the College has an expected enrolment of 550 students in 2020. With an emphasis on enquiry based learning, the College offers an academically challenging curriculum and a diverse range of pathways, with an emphasis on building resilience. With a holistic approach to education, it is a vibrant community where students are strongly encouraged to become fully involved in College life and therefore offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, all complemented by a strong pastoral care program.
