Study Skills Coach (Newtown College)

To deliver workshops that respond to students learning needs. The focus of the workshops will be to develop, academic skills, learning strategies and personal skills that will facilitate student success.

Salary: Scale 3, points 17 – 20, £18,457 - £19,753 per annum, pro rata.   

(equivalent to £12,586 - £13,470 per annum)  

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Permanent, part time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum.  

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College).

Qualifications: Candidates must have a level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, and/or relevant equivalent experience. Candidates must hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to Level 2 (with working knowledge of MS Office).  Basic Skills 9297 Level 2 (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
