Would you like to join a highly successful, well-resourced computing department that is determined to be the best it can be?    

The Ongar Academy has an excellent academic record, a genuine commitment to the welfare and development of staff and high expectations of student behaviour.

We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our computing team. You will be required to teach computer science up to and including A Level.  Computing is a highly valued part of the school’s curriculum.   Facilities are regularly updated to incorporate the latest operating systems and there is a firm commitment to embracing new technologies.   

In addition you would, as Subject Lead for Computing, be accountable for the academic outcomes achieved by students in the subject.
