We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Subject Lead for Computing to join our passionate team of educators and lead our Computing curriculum. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of computing education at The Appleton School, inspiring both students and colleagues alike to embrace the exciting possibilities of technology and computational thinking.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of an engaging and relevant computing curriculum that aligns with national standards and reflects the latest advancements in technology and computing.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of dedicated computing educators, empowering them to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and challenge students
  • Motivate and engage students through dynamic and interactive lessons, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities that ignite their passion for computing and digital technology.
  •  Lead departmental initiatives to evaluate and enhance teaching and learning practices, drive innovation, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the Computing Department and across the school.
