Having opened in our brand new multi-million pound building in September 2015 with record student numbers Health Futures UTC is pleased to offer an outstanding individual the opportunity to join us as we go into our third year and take in our next cohort of students. You will be an outstanding teacher of Health and Social Care with a clear record of delivering exceptional results for students at all levels. You will have experience of leading teams of staff and effective curriculum development and will be excited and energised by the opportunities and challenges that this post offers. The successful candidate, with the support of the senior team, will lead an exceptional team of professionals to ensure that this central plank of our students’ education is delivered at the highest standard; taking full advantage of the technology available and ensuring that their learning is clearly linked to our Health specialism. Working with a tight-knit group of committed staff, your professional opportunities will be second to none as we develop our provision together and ensure the best possible outcomes and experience for our students. This combined with our partnership with the University of Wolverhampton and other providers ensures that you will have every opportunity to develop your career and gain further qualifications. Established with the backing of the University of Wolverhampton and in partnership with a wide range of health sector employer partners, including all West Midlands NHS Trusts, WM Ambulance Service and the Mid-counties Co-operative Pharmacy, Health Futures is responding to the identified skills gap that is preventing local young people taking up the varied and valuable career paths in this sector. As the welfare and safeguarding of our pupils is paramount, this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
