St Paul’s Way Trust School, supported by Queen Mary University of London is seeking to appoint an outstanding, creative and forward looking Subject Leader for Computer Science to work closely alongside the Head of Faculty for English to consolidate and build on the continued success within the subject.  You will have the capacity to adopt new and creative ways to teach Computer Science from 11 to 18. You will have the contagious enthusiasm for the subject which excites and motivates both staff and students. Recent A-level experience will be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be excited about the opportunities presented to adapting to 100 minute lessons and changes to the new A-Level and GCSE specifications as well as developing a vibrant Key Stage 3 curriculum. You should be ambitious and creative in your curriculum design and have a passion for developing the pedagogy of the team working in partnership with the Head of Faculty and Lead Practitioner.

Underpinning everything, the successful candidate will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every student and a commitment to taking the curriculum area and Faculty forward.

You will be joining an incredibly hard-working and efficient team, including an aspiring Lead Practitioner and Subject Driver and will work under dynamic and supportive management.
