Bourne Grammar School is the largest grammar school in Lincolnshire and is amongst the very largest nationally. We are full, oversubscribed, fully staffed by subject experts, have an excellent modern estate, well-behaved and well-motivated students, supportive parents and financial security. We have a large Sixth Form of 350 students and offer 27 A-Level subjects.
The Governors wish to appoint a candidate with outstanding potential to lead and develop the English Department. We seek and value potential above all else so welcome applications from anyone who believes they have the drive and determination to succeed in this role.
The vacancy arises due to the promotion of the incumbent, who joined us in 2014 from a non-selective school, to a Senior Leadership post at another school.
The closing date for applications is 9.00 am on Monday 12 March 2018. Short-listed candidates will be notified by Tuesday 13 March and interviews will be held on Monday 19 March and Tuesday 20 March.
