We are seeking to appoint from September 2019, an experienced teacher with the energy and vision to lead art and to help promote the continuing development of the school through this key role. This post is an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience with a further view to future career development.
We are looking for someone who:
- enjoys being part of a team and sharing ideas and materials
- wants to make lessons fun and engaging
- enjoys learning new skills
The Art Department is:
- a welcoming and supportive team, keen to develop and improve, both as individual practitioners and as a group
- fully equipped with resources and relevant technology, including interactive white boards
- successfully offering the full range of qualifications through to A Level art.
The Art Department at Moulton School and Science College is well established and has an excellent reputation within the local area. Our experienced specialist Art teachers and support technicians benefit from the facilities of a dedicated Arts block that has recently been refurbished. Alongside two teaching rooms and a specific Sixth form area, the Art Department is equipped with a Kiln, printing press and digital and analogue Photography facilities.
