The Governing Body of St Paul’s School for Girls is seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Computer Science for commencement September 2017/January 2018. We seek an outstanding practitioner with the ability to lead the delivery of Computer Science at Key Stages 3, and with a view to developing it in KS4 and 5 in this outstanding Catholic School. We are looking for a dedicated and committed leader to drive academic progress and take a key role in supporting and developing the Catholic life of the school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record to make their next step into leadership.

St Paul's is a Catholic comprehensive school for girls aged 11-19. St Paul's is in the top 5 % of schools in the UK and the top comprehensive school in Birmingham. In 2016 GCSE 88% A*-C including English and Maths and progress was 0.51, the second highest in the whole of Birmingham, including Grammar Schools. Ofsted 2017 found St Paul’s to be ‘an outstanding school’.

St Paul’s School for Girls is a mainstream, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school for girls aged 11-18. It is situated in Edgbaston in Birmingham and it has 989 pupils on its roll. The headteacher is a former pupil.

Students’ behaviour is outstanding both in lessons and around the school. They attend well, are punctual and are very keen to learn and succeed.
