SUBJECT LEADER FOR DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
Full Time, MPS + TLR2B £4551.00
From September 2017
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic subject leader for design and technology, with either a food or materials technology specialism. To lead this new subject and make a difference building the subject area to enhance the learning of our students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to start the new department in brand new purpose built facilities.
Since becoming part of the Redhill Academy Trust in 2016, our priority will be to support rapid but sustainable improvement in all areas of the Academy whilst subscribing to the key characteristics; high expectations of all students, valuing and celebrating academic achievement, consistently good and focused teaching and widening students’ experiences through a range of extracurricular activities including sports, music and the performing arts.

Having recently joined the Redhill Academy Trust, Park Vale Academy, is a newly constructed Academy situated in the Rise Park area of Nottingham. The new school was re-opened on 1st September 2017 to students aged 11 to 16. The school is friendly and forward looking, and determined to accelerate recent improvements in outcomes for all its students.
