If appointed, you would join a friendly team of professionals who continually strive for excellence and improve their practice through a range of CPD activities, including professional dialogue and discussion of evidence-based pedagogy. The successful applicant will be required to teach a range of key stages, as well as having excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.

Waingels is a very successful 11 to 18 Comprehensive school serving its local community. We are also very proud of the achievements of our students. Under the new measures our students at Key Stage 4 made very good progress and we are above national average in all measures. We are delighted that the vast majority of our students stay on to our Sixth Form and that 97% of our leavers gain a place at University or choose to enter apprenticeships and employment.

Our values underpin our “Waingels Ready” expectations that we have for everyone within the Waingels community. These expectations form the basis of everything we do, and everything we believe in as a school and as a community.

If you feel your values and ethos align with ours, this is an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for someone with energy and vision that is ambitious for themselves and the young people of the school.
